I'm a member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood. I worked the Magic Shop at Disneyland for years, eight hours a day on whoever walked through the door, which is where you find out what actually moves a person and what only sounds like it should. Corporate events at Allegiant Stadium, Mandalay Bay and The Gatsby Lounge. Eighteen years on stages and floors, 450,000 people following the work online.
And I spent years on what's underneath the magic: how attention, suggestion, and imagination actually behave. I'm a certified hypnotist, trained in Ericksonian hypnotherapy under Dan Jones, and I presented a theory of my own on it at Oxford.
